Something to share..

Have you ever seen a baby porcupine??..I haven't but after seeing this how can you resist....I got this story from a friend and just want to share it here so enjoy...

sssoooooo cuuuttee...

aaahhhhhh....

Fable of the porcupine

It was the coldest
winter ever. Many animals died because of the
cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided
to group together. This way they covered and protected
themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest
companions even though they gave off heat to each other.
After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one
from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen.

So they had to make a choice:

Either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth.

Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. This way they
learned to live with the little wounds that were caused by the
close relationship with their companion, but the most
important part of it, was the heat that came from the others.
This way they were able to survive.

Moral of the story:

The best relationship is not the one that brings
together perfect people, but the best is when each individual
learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire
the other person's good qualities.

The Real Moral of the story:

LEARN TO LOVE THE PRICKS IN YOUR LIFE.

A new member in the family..

All-About-Us is almost complete in 2011 as we recently had a newest member joining the family and we welcome it with our arms wide open....it is TOMPOK the tortuise or turtle or whatever its called. Well at least it looks like a turtle. Tompok came into the family when nobody cared for him or her. Its still a baby though and green. Lets give Tompok the intro...

Comparing Tompok with a pen ..its really small...

His new home..near the kitchen beach...relaxing on the rock...

I guess he's thinking of food right now..

New in 2011..

Its been a very hectic and busy week in the new year for myself and the family. The girls are adapting themselves very well in their new school nearby. A culture shock for them during the first 2 weeks but now they are getting better in school for being the new kid on the block.

For myself, I'm looking forward for this year's challenge and learn every moment of it, hoping the best for All of Us, enjoy life and live life the fullest as 'Life is All but the Ordinary'.

As for Yayah, she had her change and prepared for her new school. She had a new haircut. I guess its best for her as she had never had her hair cut short ever since she was a baby and with her new uniform its sort of the requirement. I took pictures of her as a remembrance...
