Raya invite @ The Grand Hall Empire Hotel

Last Tuesday, I was invited to Raya gathering to the Empire hotel & country club. It was really a big honour for me to be at one of the most prestigous hotel in the country. At the same time the hotel were opening of its newest hall named The Grand Hall which can fit 2000 people. Its the biggest hall I've ever been next to the hall at the ICC. Thanks to the hotel management who invited me to the grand opening and I had fun meeting old friends and people. The setup was snack bar type and the food was grand with the Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Malay, Western. Oh we also had 'AMBUYAT' (fav local food).

Paint job on the house

Finally the house is painted with our colour choice but not the exact colour that we really expect it to be from the drawing that our architect had shown us. Anyway, we'll have to wait till it's really finished and see the outcome. Still a lot more to do on the house though the interiors need to be designed to our likings. The house is really a challenged for us both physically and mentally. Nowadays not many modern contemporay houses are build in our area but in times we can see a few modern houses with a different twist and shapes are starting to build. I'll take a few pixof those once I got the chance. In the meantime this is the only recent shot I got due to my datelines at work.

The main colour should be Coffee milk with a green tea effect which is not outstanding to what we expected....

Hari raya has been great for everybody especially my girls. Their friends were invited to our open house. These pix were taken before the terrible accident. Everybody was shocked to hear that some of them were involved in the accident. Fortunately no one was badly hurt. Anyway, as the hari raya continues....we had a surprise visit from one of the local Brunei singer, Fairuz Nizan....wuhooo
